TBA General Audition One on One Coaching & Group Classes

The Theater Bay Area General auditions are a great way to meet a large number of Bay Area casting directors, directors and producers all at once. They also present a unique challenge for the actor. If you are lucky enough to have gotten an audition slot, it is important to prepare well to get the most out of this opportunity.

Over the years I have coached many actors on how to prepare for these important auditions. This year, I am again offering private 1:1 coaching as well as workshops for actors and singers on several dates in January and February.  

We will cover in depth such topics as:

• Finding and editing audition material that shows you at your very best
• Staying within the strict 2 minute time limit without rushing
• The importance of introductions, transitions, and endings
• Physicality and how to best use the Strand Theater stage
• Getting in sync with the accompanist (if you are singing)
• Managing nerves and turning them into excitement
